Continued Professional Development for 1st year and 2nd year analysts
2-hour instructor-led virtual synchronous training twice weekly for 4-weeks
WSP Learning worked with a long-time client on an innovative competency-based Accelerator Program delivered virtually throughout the firm’s full 2 year Analyst Program.
Our client realized that an ongoing learning program is critical to upskill junior investment banking analysts to allow them to perform and exceed the expectation of their clients and colleagues by expanding their toolkit. The current standard of one-time onboarding foundational training is just the beginning of learning and development. There was a clear need for highly relevant functional training.
The Accelerator Program follows the “table stakes” training in accounting, modeling and valuation skills delivered during graduate training, and focuses on developing commercial awareness, presentation skills and data analysis.
In response to the training need and gap identified, the WSP learning team worked with our client to layout and design a series of short continued professional development sessions over a 4-week program to close the disconnect between the on-the-job pitfalls and the on-the-job expectations.
